1. Curriculum of South Korea

A curriculum is constituted to enable education on the basis of a philosophical foundation suited to the particular ideology of the society, a social foundation suited to the social situation, and a psychological foundation suited to the developmental stage of students. In this exhibition space, content from the 1st to 7th national curricula after the era of the Teaching Guidelines of 1945, and teaching and study materials used in each period are on display. One can see miniature scenes of a simple study room used in the ‘50s and ’60s, a school for middle school students in the ‘60s and ’70s, students’ school sports day, and more.
